What has been pegged to be the colour of the year is making its way off of the hanger and onto the lips of many leading ladies. Tangerine lipstick has been making waves in the celebrity world with starlets like Jennifer Hudson, Katy Perry, and Taylor Swift sporting the new bold tone.

This colour is a winner for all skin types making it the lipstick choice of the year. But before you dive in and plaster those lips with this vibrant colour, there are a few things you should note. Tangerine is a colour that can’t be worn with just any outfit. It’s bright and therefore is a statement look. With this colour, it’s all about drawing attention to your lips rather than what you’re actually wearing.  The colour should be worn with simple block colours and paired with natural looking make-up.
